European unions unsure of WTO concessions
Sierra Leone News.Net Saturday 26th July, 2008
Some European Union member nations have expressed concern that the bloc's trade chief Peter Mandelson might be conceding too much at world trade talks in Geneva.
The misgivings were put forward only a day after Mr Mandelson said he thought an agreement might be possible at the drawn-out talks, which are being attended by trade ministers.
The meeting has released a draft set of proposals which would require the United States and the European Union to make cuts in agricultural subsidies and import tariffs and emerging economies to open up their markets.
Apart from union concerns, it is known Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi and French President Nicolas Sarkozy are deeply concerned about the direction the talks are taking.
The French and Italian governments want the deal improved to protect its farmers while Ireland says it has concerns about its beef industry.

European unions unsure of WTO concessions
In ancient Rome there was just one Emperor Nero fiddling while Rome burned whereas the European Union has so many Nero’s. There should be a sitcom about the Eurocrats.

Havent We Seen This All Before Or Is There A Twist?
How many times have we seen these mass systems failures over the past two hundred years across Europe and environs. Industrial revolution, rapid growth, corruption of stock markets and banks, economic collapse, revolution or some voter equivalent, nationalisation of failed banks and industries, eventual recovery, re-privatisation of banks and industries, new elitists, stupidity, collapse, re-nationalization, eventual recovery and re-privatisation....seems to be a re-run of a tv program we’ve seen before perhaps with new thespians.....

Fake Irish Sun Websites On Yahoo Misdirecting!!!
It is better for Irish Sun readers world wide to go directly through the Excite.com search engine as most of the Yahoo searches for Irish Sun intentionally misdirect readers to fake Irish Sun websites. They need to be sued for false advertising, misrepresentation and stealing of the Irish Sun logo and trademark.

Mandelson: The Man Who Sold The World!
The Bowie song (later borrowed by Cobain) Man Who Sold The World is a befitting anthem to Mandelson, Blair’s bagman. How many times has Mandelson been sacked over this or that only to have Blair immediately give him a raise and a promotion. Incredible. Mandelson, shall likely be running the World Trade Organisation (WTO not to be confused with World Thieves Organisation) in no time. Brilliant.

Banning Iraq From Olympics Could Stir Conflict!
The unelected International Olympic Committew arbitrarily banned Iraq from the Beijing Olympics, an event worth boycotting anyway due to human rights abuses in Tibet and China itself. However, war torn Iraqis and qyuite likely the Americans themselves are likely to be perturbed over the IOC paid authoritarian elitist decision to ban Iraq from the spectacle of bread and circuses as this could contribute to further security problems for the (Mideast) (more correctly) Soithwest Asia region. The IOC is undoing tears of efforts to de-escalate the tensions in Iraq. Is it time to examine the IOC and their monopolistic profiteering ways. Either be greedy or a fascist but not both...that is not a sound business policy.
